Description

This advanced welding system is capable of assembling a diverse range of materials up to 4 mm thick, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, magnesium, and titanium. With its sophisticated secondary control mechanism, it ensures exceptional arc stability and maintains a consistent current, regardless of the work position.
5 TIG WELDING MODES
– DC Standard: Utilizes direct current (DC) welding, making it suitable for a wide variety of ferrous materials. This mode delivers reliable and robust welds, ensuring excellent penetration and bonding strength.
– DC Pulsed: Designed to minimize temperature rise in the workpieces, this mode is perfect for delicate operations on very thin sheet metal. The pulsing technique allows for controlled heat input, preventing warping or distortion of the material.
– AC Standard: Tailored for aluminum and its various alloys (such as Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn, etc.), this mode provides effective and efficient welding performance, achieving strong weld seams that maintain the integrity of the aluminum.
– AC Pulsed: Similar to the AC Standard mode but with the added benefit of limiting temperature rise in the welded parts. This is particularly advantageous for extremely thin sheets, as it prevents overheating and damage.
– AC Easy: This user-friendly mode features predefined parameters that simplify the welding process. The welder merely selects the diameter of the tungsten electrode via the intuitive interface, making it accessible even for those with limited experience.
MMA WELDING
– SPOT Mode (TIG DC or AC): This mode allows for quick and precise targeting prior to welding thin sheet metal, enabling the welder to secure a clean and accurate start on the workpiece.
– Two Types of Ignition: Users can choose between contactless high frequency (HF) ignition for traditional settings or contact lift ignition, which is ideal for electro-sensitive environments, providing flexibility based on the specific welding scenario.
– Three Trigger Controls: Offering versatility in operation, the system features 2T (trigger for individual welds), 4T (trigger to maintain arc without holding), and 4T LOG (for automatic sequence control), catering to various welding techniques and user preferences.
– Automatic Torch Detection: This feature enhances convenience by enabling compatibility with both lamella and double-button torches, automatically recognizing the attached torch type for seamless operation.
